Welcome to the 6.5 forum and the Diesel Place, sit back kick your shoes off and join in on the fun. New to Diesels? Don't worry, you will be up to speed in no time.

For good info on how our trucks work check out our FAQs. Shoot a PM to a moderator if you see something missing you think should be added. This is a member participation site, only as good as the membership makes it.

Everybody brings their own experience and know-how to the site, no question is too dumb. I will ask that you 1st use the FAQs and search feature - it is quite possible your question may have been covered before, and you may find the answer, or may be better able to understand a posted answer, if you have a good idea of the basics.

The FAQ's are alphabetically indexed. Please use the FAQ's to familiarize yourself with your engine. Most of the common failure points are listed there.

Another good resource to look at is the Diagnostic Checklist. This will have you check many different items, so check out all information before posting if the problem is a bit difficult.

Be civil/patient. It is easy to misinterpret written responses - they may come off as an attack when none is intended. PM is a great tool for resolving this, as it is hard to get a writer's intended tone when there is no voice or facial expression to get the "feeling" of the response.

Lastly, put your truck information in your signature

If you are a business venture looking for sales opportunity feel free to contact member Randy_the_Hack or JD4440 for information on how to become a supporting vendor advertiser.

For those wanting to share about where their ride resides at, you can add your rig to the growing list on the Member Locator thread.

Thank You
The Diesel Place Staff

Now that you have the gist of the site you will want to spend time in the reference area or what we commonly call the FAQ (frequently asked questions) for detailed information about your 6.2 or 6.5 vehicle http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53309 also listed as a sticky post loced at top of the 6.2 or 6.5 topic areas
